Barry Marshall is the man behind the discovery of helicobacter pylori.Helicobacter pylori is a bacteria that causes peptic ulsers in the stomach.So technically he proved that ulsers are not caused by stress,spicy food and too much acid.Most people thought that bacteria could not live in the acidic stomach but he soo proved them wrong!! Symptoms of stomach ulcers include nausea,vommiting and etc..Wanna know how he discovered it!! He tried it on lab mice but it couldn't work because it's a human bacteria so he drank the bacteria himself!!!! Damn that was one hell of a risk he took just to prove himself right. He was obviously awarded the nobel prize for his discovery!! guess what!!! I met him!!!! hehe =)

Expiry dates??? What's that???

For those who don't know me... I DON'T believe in expiry dates!!!!I mean even when the expiry date is up that doesn't mean the food is bad!!! Check out the food before you decide to throw it out.If it looks,smells and tastes normal it's edible!!! Here is a good example for why you shouldn't believe in expiry dates.....2 years ago when we went to Trinidad we bought Betty Crocker colourful chip cookies cause they aren't sold here.We didnt make them till this year.The exipry date was January 2009!!! The best part is nothing happened to us!! So...do I prove my point??!!!

Germany lost to Serbia!!!!! 1-0!! why oh why???!!! They lost cause Miroslav Klose got sent off!!!!! grrrrrrr..... and he's a blardy good striker!!!!! and on top of that..michael ballack isin't playing this year!!!!! haiz....

I watched Toy Story 3 in 3-D with the family!!!! If you have been watching toy story ever since it came out then it is like a must watch!!!!! Me and mum almost broke down at the end of the movie!!!!!

Does that mean I'm wiser???

My wisdom tooth has decided to emerge!!! Mum thought it was mumps cause my gums were super swollen and I couldn't swallow or talk without being in pain....So obviously we went to the dentist and he said it's my wisdom tooth!!! Damn I never knew it was gonna be that painful!!!!

Yesterday me,my sister,my mum and my brother went to Pyramid to see Shrek in 3D....It was really good by the way....wheeeee....

On the way back from camp on sunday....my mum told me my dad had bought a HD tv....So when I walked into the house......BOOM!!!! There was a LG 49"LCD HD TV!!! WTF!!!! She didn't warn me bought the size!!!! haha...but things are super duper clear on the TV!!! I asked why he bought it cause there was nothin wrong with the old TV!!! He said it's to watch the Fifa World Cup!!!! haha...my dad....

It's a pity David Beckham might not be playing this year!!! I know he's old but the way he sends the ball from the corner of the field right into the goalpost is simply Majestic!!!! they say...Bend it like Beckham!!!

Miroslav Klose is actually pretty good!!!! He scores a fair amount of goals for Germany!!! =)


Hoe could I not mention Lionel Messi...he's soo young yet he scores soooo many goals....He really is the best football player...and he is kinda cute!!!!

Haha...need I say more about Kaka...he is a really fantastic player!!! and fortunately for us..He's got good looks....but he's married!!! Owh well.....

We had our last camp from the 4th to the 6th...It was the life in the spirit seminar...Man it was like a slap on the face...seriously!!!! Healing and Innner healing was awesome!!! I don't know why but so far 2 people have died on my birthday and ironically they are both from the religious world....

1st of...In the year 2005....I turned 12...and Pope John Paul the 11 passed away

This year however my birthday fell on good friday...which obviously means Jesus passed away on my birthday....

Maybe...just maybe the passing of these 2 iconic people on my birthday means something.....hmmmm...... Well...I'll just take it as a blessing in disguise.... =)

I would also like one of those long charm necklaces......I saw one in Diva that I liked...It's kinda colourful....
